My Background and Approach
I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in sociology from Saint Bonaventure University in 2011. I then completed my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Saint John Fisher College in 2013. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2018 and have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, inpatient mental health and residential treatment facilities. I am licensed in Florida and can see anyone who is physically located in the entire state of Florida during all of our sessions. Clients have told me they appreciate my authenticity and relatability, and I often use humor and pop culture references when appropriate as I feel this helps diffuse difficult topics and often enhances the therapeutic relationship. I tailor my work with clients to each client's specific needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I consider myself a non-denominational Christian and a believer in all human rights. In my free time I like to spend time with my animals (2 cats and 1 dog), ride roller coasters, roller skate, and spend time with cherished friends and family.
