Hills of Mercy Counseling was founded based on the trials and tribulations in my own marriage, if you can name it, most likely we survived it and thrived through it! My Background and Approach
Choosing a therapist that is a good fit for you is a very important choice, and, if you are like me, you’d like to get to know the person you are choosing a little more! Originally from Walton, West Virginia, and having grown up in Orlando, FL, I did my undergraduate work at the University of Central Florida. After graduating with a BA in English Literature, I immediately moved to Boston and began a successful career in the magazine publishing industry. A few years after college graduation I was blessed to become a published author with my work appearing in books such as “Life Savors”, “Cup of Comfort Devotional for Mothers and Daughters”, “All My Bad Habits I Learned from Grandpa”, and “His Forever, Real People Coming to Jesus”. Later, I would obtain my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy graduating Cum Laude from California Southern University. I am the extremely proud wife of a former Soldier. I have been with the love of my life for going on 32 years.
