About My Clients
We can feel anxious, sad, alone or sometimes just stuck with no clear direction and no one we can turn to. That's when we find ourselves needing a part approach in addressing challenges centers around my belief that each and every individual has their own strengths and wisdom that they bring to counseling. My job is to help those I work with access those skills and utilize them to reach their goals. I may be an expert in mental health, but you are the expert on you!
My Background and Approach
I have been working as a counselor since 2008 and have years of experience of providing counseling services, clinical administration and clinical supervision. Many of my clients come to me with a history of wounds we need to heal one at a time. Others struggle with anxiety, mood swings and sadness that diminishes their joy throughout their lives. I have specialty trainings in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for OCD as well as EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. Together, we can plan out a road map from where you are to where you want to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each person has the ability to heal and thrive. Sometimes a little help is all we need. I know searching for a counselor can be hard and it is so important to find the right fit.
