About My Clients
I work with thoughtful, growth-oriented people navigating trauma, attachment wounds, identity and belonging, grief, and the realities of love (monogamous or not). I often support ENM/CNM folks, queer and trans clients, high-functioning women, creatives, and those impacted by immigration stress. All of you is welcome here. We’ll move at a grounded pace with care for both your nervous system and your story.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist in California and New York, EMDR-certified, and grounded in a relational, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed lens. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative: we slow down, name what’s happening in the room, and work with both the nervous system and the narrative. EMDR & Trauma: Evidence-based care for single-incident and complex trauma, medical trauma, creative burnout, and grief. Relationships & ENM/CNM: Boundaries, jealousy, repair after rupture, and designing agreements that reflect your values—not someone else’s template. Immigration Evaluations: Clinical psychological evaluations for hardship waivers (I-601/I-601A), VAWA, U/T visas, and asylum. Reports are culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and written with the clarity attorneys need.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
No single relationship model is “healthier” than another; what matters is consent, care, and congruence with your values. I’m committed to racial justice and culturally responsive practice, and I welcome conversations about identity, power, and safety—inside and outside the therapy room. I work with many creatives and therapists; I respect the courage it takes to ask for help when you’re the one others lean on. Outside of session, writing and long walks keep me grounded.
