About My Clients

Many of my clients are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and come from a variety of spiritual backgrounds, but I have worked predominantly with pagan and deconstructing Christian clients. Much of my work has focused on career/education development, anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent issues. I work with my clients to find empowerment, justice, and authenticity in their lives.

My Background and Approach

My primary theoretical approaches are existential therapy and narrative therapy with a heavy emphasis on making meaning, finding and creating purpose, and empowering authorship for my clients. I believe you are the expert in your life; you know what you have been through, where you want to go, and how you want to get there. I firmly believe that the systems we see in society today are heavily impactful and influential on our mental health and cannot be ignored or minimized. I honestly proclaim myself to be a human therapist. The relationship I build with my clients is sacred, and I promise each client that I show up authentically. I believe relationships are healing, and the best service I can do for my clients is to be present and honest as we share the journey of therapy, unique to each person I work with.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I call myself a radical therapist. I am unapologetically pro-BLM, affirming LGBTQ+ community members, and I stand in solidarity with Palestine. I take the work of decolonizing my practice seriously and center my professional development on maintaining an equitable, anti-racist, and justice-oriented worldview. I currently identify as an atheist, but I work well with spiritual clients regardless of the path they walk and integrate spiritual practices as appropriate. I have a passion for working with individuals who have left or are leaving the Christian faith or are seeking to redefine their Christian faith from a framework of justice and love. I also have experience integrating a variety of Pagan paths in session In my free time, I am a massive nerd! I love DnD, video/computer games, and reading. I also write poetry and boulder, and I am very excited to begin learning Rugby and drawing. I have two cats and a dog; all of whom are very likely to make an appearance as we work together.
