My Background and Approach
As a couples therapist with years of advanced training in marriage, couples, and relationships, I specialize in helping couples manage conflict, heal past wounds, and reconnect on a deeper level. My treatment plan is tailored to each couple's unique needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Drs. John Gottman and Sue Johnson's approaches. My focus is on helping couples repair, rekindle, or create the relationship of their deepest longings. I provide the tools and guidance necessary to foster healthy communication, increase intimacy, decrease conflict, and rebuild trust, among other things. I also have experience working with couples dealing with infidelity or betrayal and can help them stabilize their relationship and build a new story together. My ultimate goal is to empower couples to communicate effectively, share and soothe each other's vulnerabilities, and work together as partners to create the relationship they desire.
