Life is hard. Things happen to us and we wonder why. We all have values and learning to figure out how to still move towards our values despite the internal struggles we have can bring enlightening aspects to the day to day struggles we all experience.
The average person has over 6,000 thoughts a day. Identifying the connection between the thoughts we have, the feelings that brings up, and how we behave with those thoughts can bring huge reflection. Our thoughts are like the ocean, storms will happen, it is learning to ride the waves and choose what our truth is that brings peace into our lives.
Often times when we hear "mindfulness" we think of constant states of "peace" or our minds totally quiet. Our lives are busy and finding time to "be quiet" is few and far between. Working with me we can find ways to use mindfulness techniques in our daily life and find peace in the day to day activities.
Sometimes becoming a parent is not what it was imagined to be. These thoughts can be complicated. There can be feelings of shame and guilt and meeting with a trained professional we will work together to find relief. You are not alone!
Anxiety and depression are like "best friends" that feed off each other and create a wheel of thoughts that is hard to quiet down. Mindfulness and learning ways to rethink that over active thoughts can bring peace.
We have all had experiences with loss at one time or another in our lives. Sometimes we experiences loss that may be "taboo" in our society. Processing through these losses and learning to live a "new normal" can help in the healing process
