My Background and Approach
I use an eclectic approach to counseling. This means that I am trained in numerous therapeutic approaches. In a counseling session we will explore emotional and cognitive barriers, past and present relationships, and collaboratively devise therapy goals. I am a certified EMDR therapist, IFS-EMDR Informed certified therapist, a certified somatic sex therapist, a diplomate of the American Board of Sexology, IFS and IFIO informed therapist, CBT therapist, EFT therapist, trained in Gottman Method Couple Therapy Level 1 and 2. I am currently a PhD Clinical Sexology student.
