About My Clients
I work with clients across the lifespan, including individuals 16+, couples, and families. I work with clients who endure OCD, high anxiety, chronic illness, disability, life transitions, and grief. We'll work together to create tangible goals and work towards them while we explore what makes you, you!
My Background and Approach
I work with adolescents 16+, young adults, adults, families, and couples as they encounter anxiety/OCD, trauma, life changes, disability, peer relationships, family conflict, and grief. I have experience working in Counseling and Psychological Services in a higher education setting and can help clients navigate difficult life transitions. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in Vocational Rehabilitation and aided individuals in connecting with their support network to set themself up for success. I enjoy utilizing a person-centered and holistic approach while incorporating aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, including exposure and response prevention, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and strength-based therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has inherent worth and matters intensely. I am so grateful you found your way to this page. Life may feel overwhelming, scary, or even unlivable right now but I want to provide reassurance that this feeling can and will pass. In my clinical practice, I work with clients to create a holistic treatment plan and approach our work focusing on your strengths while making you feel heard and valued. I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety and OCD, family conflict, grief, life transitions, peer relationships, stress, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with individuals and families experiencing disability. I am here to walk with you every step of the way. I believe therapy is a partnership and I’d be honored to walk with you and watch you grow as you continue your journey.
