About My Clients
Our work with adult and adolescent life transitions, whether related to the inner personal world, relationships, academics or career, is always goal driven. We support a range of life challenges and mental health concerns, including anxiety & depression, complex trauma, and post-traumatic growth, adult ADHD, couple's work, pregnancy and post-partum challenges, and respectful uncoupling. It's our goal to realize growth for people who feel "stuck", finding clarity and fulfillment in life.
My Background and Approach
Our team has a friendly and and judgment-free approach with years of experience treating a broad range of social/emotional and behavioral health needs; Together, we use your strengths, help you to find insight, identify what's hurting you, build resiliency and give you the confidence to make the changes you need for a more fulfilling life. We use a number of treatment approaches, including CBT, ACT, brief solution-focused and trauma informed care. Life can be tough, and old unhealthy patterns of behavior often die hard, but you don't have to go it alone. It's our goal to provide a safe and supportive environment so that clients feel comfortable with therapy- and with persistence (and sometimes a sense of humor), we believe you can overcome just about anything.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At Well Being, we are a non-judgmental and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice. Through our personal and professional lives we have worked with marginalized and vulnerable populations in the Latinx/Latine community, survivors of abuse, and complex trauma. We share a lifetime dedication to helping people work out challenges that keep us “stuck,” and understanding the impact of unhealthy relationships, past and present, and unhealthy thoughts that hurt us. We understand that there are patterns of thinking that color or cloud a healthy perspective, and we often embrace them, believing them to be the truth. We believe our responsibility in therapy is to help people identify and move past the challenges and thought patterns that hurt us, moving toward living with clarity, great humor, peace, and fulfillment.
