My Background and Approach
I’m certified in Animal-Assisted Therapy and EMDR, and I often draw from CBT, REBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness. Clients describe my approach as empowering and refreshingly real. Our sessions are collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you feel grounded and capable—inside and outside of therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Not only do I have experience with my own mental and physical health issues, I've been there and helped others through theirs for over 15 years. Together we can focus on past traumas affecting your present life, ways to use effective coping skills, or even just talking through whatever you need to talk through to feel refreshed and empowered. Mental health issues are some of the most difficult struggles someone can go through in thier lives. Much like several physical illnesses, it hurts. It hurts in ways that are sometimes difficult to help others understand. I'm here to understand, and help you understand how you can help yourself get through it.
