Perhaps you always look like you are put together or going through your day mostly well. You have a good job, perhaps in a relationship or want one, have friends...but underneath, however, you feel quite differently. You may be stressed, anxious, and sad. You may feel like you have tried to move through these harder feelings on your own but nothing changes. This is where therapy can help.
My Background and Approach
I have studied a few different approaches to therapy, including east and west philosophies such as mindfulness, Buddhism, and reiki. I am a depth oriented, attachment based psychodynamic psychotherapist. I believe that our past does inform our present but it doesn't have to block us or hold us hostage. We can move through it. I also have training in EMDR which a great power tool to work with trauma, present or past, so people can feel more free to move forward in their lives. I help my clients find their true authentic voice, make changes, and discover what has been holding them back in relationships with others, careers, and in life.
