Do you feel like parenting feels more like surviving than enjoying, and you’re worn out from constant battles. Or maybe you’re a teacher—struggling to figure out how to work with a challenging student and feeling less than supported. I want you to know that you're not alone, you're not crazy, and I'd really love to help.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring years of experience working with children, teens, parents, teachers, and families. I have advanced training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and, most recently, received certification with the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). My goal is that you walk away with the confidence that you can manage whatever comes your way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are. Many of the children, parents, families, and teachers I work with come to me feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected. My role is to offer a safe, accepting space where you don’t have to carry those struggles alone. I believe change is always possible, and that with the right support, people can learn new ways to cope, connect, and thrive. I care deeply about supporting children, parents, and teachers in our communities, and I’m committed to creating safe, affirming spaces for anyone from any walk of life. I value compassion, authenticity, acceptance, and humor in the work I do, and I believe therapy works best when you can truly be yourself.
