I work with adults on: stress management, coping with anxiety/OCD, creating boundaries to reduce people pleasing, and improving self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
I believe in identifying and building upon your existing strengths, while maintaining a solution focused lens to work towards the goals you would like to achieve. I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I will meet you where you are at in life and we will work together towards learning healthy ways of coping with stressors. I use a combination of treatment modalities, such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology. I often incorporate mindfulness techniques into sessions, such as guided imagery, and visualization. Self-care is a big focus of mine, as I believe you cannot pour from an empty cup. Seeking out therapy can be scary, but you have taken the first step in making a positive change in your life. I look forward to working with you!
