About My Clients
Many of my clients identify as high-achievers and are looking for ways to reduce anxiety and increase balance in their lives. Are you always worried about what's next in your college or career path? Maybe you find yourself replaying social interactions over and over, or wondering how to balance a chronic illness with all the other important parts of your life. I help clients learn the tools and coping skills that help you thrive in the face of challenges and create lasting change in your life.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm, collaborative and laid back, and I strive to make the therapy process as straightforward as possible. Together, we will identify your goals and work collaboratively with an individualized and strengths-based approach. Through our work, we will spend some time exploring your past while also ensuring that we’re taking action-oriented steps to keep you moving forward. We'll work hard while also leaving room for humor and lighter moments. In addition to private practice, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, ranging from trauma counseling and healthy relationship promotion in New York City public schools to coaching and community-based work with adolescents, caregivers, and young professionals. I received my MSW from Columbia University and am passionate about partnering with my clients to help them reach their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker, access to equitable and effective mental health care is something that I care deeply about. Everyone has a unique history and story, and I consider it a privilege to be able to listen to and learn from my clients. My approach to therapy is relational and collaborative and I view myself as a partner for my clients rather than an expert. I aim to create an empowering and nonjudgmental space where people feel comfortable exploring their inner lives and enacting change so that they can become the fullest possible versions of themselves.
