About My Clients

Is there a part of you that is ready to do deep work, as well as a part that is nervous about "digging up the past"? Do you struggle with interpersonal relationships and find yourself conflicted about people in your life? Are you trying to reach goals, but find that you seemingly "self-sabotage" these efforts? IFS therapy can help with these issues and help you feel more integrated and whole. I want to carefully guide you through your inner world and help you uncover your own innate healing.

My Background and Approach

I hold a master’s degree in counseling from Saybrook University. Major course work included humanistic approaches to human growth and development with an emphasis on social justice and how early childhood experiences shape our engagement with the world. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is my primary approach. I am trained in Levels 1, 2, and 3 of IFS, as well as its relationship counseling model Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO). I take a gentle, supportive approach with clients that also encourages empowerment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I work within a trauma-informed and liberatory framework, recognizing the impact that trauma and injustices have on our lives and society, especially within marginalized communities. An admittedly lofty goal, I seek to alleviate suffering and support fairness, equality, and justice in my practice working with individuals and couples.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
