About My Clients
I receive feedback regularly that my clients feel so much better after even one session. I start with building a personal rapport, listening to your story, and we get to know each other. This builds trust, and allows us to go at your own comfortable pace. We typically discover a new perspective or skill that they can take with them which has them feel empowered and confident, and that life is a bit more manageable than it was before they walked in.
My Background and Approach
I like an affirmative and comprehensive approach to therapy. I think it is important to find perspective in your life and it starts with improving self understanding and good self care. I like an empowering approach meaning acknowledging that you already have within you the ingredients to make a positive change and learn.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone holds within them the key to their own mental and emotional wellness, but at times may need help finding it. If you are having difficulty with depression, anxiety or mood disorders, recovery/addiction, grief, family dysfunction, trauma or just need help improving your life, I am here to help. With over 18 years of experience as a therapist, I find that no problem or challenge is too big or too small.
