About My Clients
My clients are often thoughtful people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why they continue finding themselves in the same patterns. They want more than symptom relief. . Together, we'll explore how childhood experiences, family dynamics, relationships, and significant life events have shaped the way you think, feel, and respond today. I enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, women's issues, substance use, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy is about more than managing symptoms. My approach is person-centered, developmental, and insight-oriented, with a focus on understanding how childhood experiences, family dynamics, relationships, culture, and significant life events continue to influence the way we think, feel, and respond today. I enjoy helping clients recognize patterns, gain insight, and better understand themselves while building practical strategies for change. I draw from person-centered, attachment-informed, trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, and motivational interviewing approaches to meet each client's individual needs. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, substance use, women's issues, mood disorders, and life transitions. I strive to provide a collaborative, culturally responsive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming environment where clients feel understood and supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to be understood within the context of their own life experiences. Rather than viewing problems in isolation, I believe it's important to understand how our relationships, childhood experiences, family dynamics, culture, and significant life events shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. I value curiosity over judgment and believe that insight can be a powerful catalyst for change. My role is not to tell clients what to do, but to help them better understand themselves, recognize patterns that may no longer be serving them, and develop the confidence to make choices that align with their values and goals. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, respectful, and built on trust, honesty, and genuine human connection.
