About My Clients
My practice is a good fit for children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, identity exploration, or emotional regulation. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by the expectations placed on them or struggle to understand why they think, feel, or respond the way they do. They are looking for practical strategies, greater self-understanding, and meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University and have several years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across community mental health and private practice settings. My work has included supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, family conflict, and identity-related concerns. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all model. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation to help clients better understand themselves while developing skills they can apply outside of session. My goal is to create therapy that feels meaningful, approachable, and focused on helping you make lasting changes that fit your life.
