About My Clients
I strive to create a safe, secure space where children of all ages feel welcome. I specialize in supporting families in crisis as well as individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, blending families and difficult parenting situations.
My Background and Approach
I believe you are the author of your own story. You have what is takes to create healthy relationships and my job is to walk along side you on that path. With an education background I am prepared to work with parents and children navigating difficult life situations. As a former special education teacher, I have experience working with neurodivergent populations and have incorporated that knowledge into a therapeutic space. Through utilizing theraplay, EMDR and attachment based therapy to guide clients in meeting their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In addition to my professional endeavors, I am also an advocate for strong families. Having adopting a child through the foster care system, I have witnessed the profound transformation that love, care, and secure attachment can bring into a child's life. I am on an exciting journey completing my post-grad residency requirements with the goal of expanding my expertise and reaching families in need of guidance and support. I work with individuals, couples, children and family units. It is an honor to sit with clients and embark on a transformative journey together. I seek to create a safe, sacred, therapeutic place where your experiences, thoughts, emotions are valued and respected. My role as your therapist is to be a compassionate companion on this path, supporting you through the challenges and hardships you may encounter.
