About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating intimacy challenges, betrayal, sexual shame, cultural or religious trauma, and life transitions. My clients are often seeking to reconnect with their bodies, rebuild trust in themselves or their partners, and create relationships that feel more alive and authentic. Many are exploring sex, kink, or polyamory and want therapy that is affirming, non-judgmental, and grounded in real tools for change.
My Background and Approach
My role as your therapist is to be a trusted collaborator — creating space to explore intimacy, repair relational wounds, and reconnect with your body. My approach blends Somatic Internal Family Systems (IFS), Integrative Sex Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, while drawing on Gottman-informed tools such as the Relationship Checkup to provide a research-based map of your relationship dynamics. All clients begin with a 90-minute intake to ground, share your story, and review assessment results. From there, we may continue with ongoing 60–90 minute sessions, or for couples, through a stand-alone 4-hour Intensive. Intensives are immersive sessions that include assessment, shared-language coaching, targeted interventions, and a personalized plan for growth. I am sex-positive, kink-affirming, poly-affirming, and LGBTQ+ inclusive. My work is trauma-informed and guided by curiosity, pleasure, and connection. Nothing about you is too much or too strange to bring into the room.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Like many of my clients, I carry a lived story that includes love, loss, betrayal, and transformation. These experiences, alongside my clinical training, allow me to approach therapy with humility, compassion, and a deep respect for the resilience people bring to the room. My work is guided by a commitment to curiosity, pleasure, and connection, as well as an equity lens that honors culture, faith, disability justice, and body autonomy. I believe therapy should unlearn the harms of colonial and medicalized frameworks while making space for ancestral and community wisdom. I am especially passionate about holding space for those who grew up in faith-based or culturally conservative households and now want to reclaim sexuality, intimacy, and identity on their own terms. I believe in therapy that is collaborative, liberatory, and paced to what your system can hold — with care, clarity, and integrity.
