About My Clients
You often look around and wonder if others feel and think the same way you do. You feel as if not many people understand and you spend most days stuck on auto-pilot. You are not alone. I resonate and most of my clients have also felt this way. The truth is, most of us were never taught how to cope with difficult thoughts, feelings, sensations, and memories. Therapy can equip you with the space to process and learn the skills needed to cope with mental obstacles.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with clients struggling with many experienced including sexual concerns, anxiety, panic, intrusive thoughts, depression, and self-esteem. I bring an holistic approach to evidence-based treatments including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Interventions. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, collaborative, and active.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and strive to be affirming for people of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, religious minorities, and consider myself a Health At Every Size clinician. I am here to provide a safe and comfortable space for people who have felt unseen and with various backgrounds. I commit to continue educating myself on identifiers and experiences I do not hold in order to be a better therapist, business owner, and human.
