My goal is to work with clients who are ready to work on themselves... you are here for a reason and I will gently nudge you while also providing you with support and encouragement along the way to feel good about the changes you are making and the ability to maintain them long term. This is about taking control of your life and your symptoms and we can do that together.
My Background and Approach
I am a client centered CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) therapist whose primary focus is helping you help yourself. I want you to feel heard, understood and walk away from our work together feeling empowered to begin managing life instead of feeling controlled by it. You get to analyze, redefine and reframe the thoughts that are leading to your feelings and ultimately your actions. If you are not happy with the way your life is going and the way that you are reacting to it, let's revise and give you tools to make changes that have domino effects in a healthy and adaptable way that address why you think and feel the way you do to begin with.
