About My Clients
People seem to think you have your shit together, but you feel like that couldn’t be further from the truth. Although you’re good at making it look like you’ve got it all figured out, sometimes you feel like you’re hanging on by a thread. It can be exhausting constantly striving for perfection and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’re so good at taking care of those around you but find that it hard to ask for help.
My Background and Approach
I get it. Trying to keep everything together when you feel like falling apart is so hard. I truly believe that you are the expert of your life and that you know what’s best for you. Therefore, I aim to become a sounding board and walk with you through the hard stuff rather than telling you what to do. My background is in substance use counseling so I have a lot of experience working with people who really want change but just aren’t sure how to make it happen. I love working with people to figure out what they want, determine what’s keeping them from going after it, and then creating a plan to make it happen.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone deserves to live a life they are proud of and everyone is welcome in my practice. I am LGBTQIA affirming and believe in equal rights for people of all ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, socioeconomic standing, and sexual orientation.
