About My Clients
I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing addiction or are in recovery. I also have experience working with clients affected by anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, stress, and difficulties with adjustment or life transitions. No matter what you are coming to therapy for, I strive to build a collaborative relationship with my clients, and to help you to cultivate the changes you seek for your life and overall well-being.
My Background and Approach
I integrate different modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and EMDR. I believe in treating the whole person, and utilize mindfulness techniques, breathing exercises, and meditation. I have a strength’s based mindset, focusing on the resilience each client has. I believe that every client has the capacity to reach and maintain their personal recovery. I strive to be a supportive guide as you do the day-to-day work of cultivating the change you want to see in yourself. I employ empathy, unconditional positive regard, and humor in building relationships with my clients.
