About My Clients
My clients are usually age 14 and above. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families. I can help you with anxiety, depression, marital concerns, premarital prep, divorce, blended family issues, anger management, and sexual identity. Therapy is about a good fit. I want you to come in and have an experience that leaves you hopeful in working towards living an improved quality of life.
My Background and Approach
I have foundational education in marriage and family counseling therapy working. I have been working in the counseling field since 2007 beginning with the Department of Family and Children Services in Georgia. I have worked closely with teens struggling with sexual identity and impulsive behaviors along with their families. I have extensive experience with couples, divorced individuals struggling with co-parenting, and blended families. I am available for individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, anger management, and parenting skills. I apply a solution focused, strength based approach to counseling. I focus on "what works" and the abilities you already possess that can be built upon. I believe that we all have it in us to be a better version of ourselves, but just need to tap into that reality. It's similar to how Georgia Power provides us with power to our homes but it's up to us to turn on the light switch. Let's work on turning on your light switch.

The way a person thinks affects their beliefs, their beliefs affect their perceptions, their perceptions affect their decisions, their decisions affect their behaviors, and their behaviors affect their mental wellness. Your reality and who you are is driven by your mentality.
