About My Clients
Is your child or teens' emotions dysregulated? Is your child or teen showing signs or anxiety or depression? Are there grades dropping? Are you tired of second guessing yourself when setting limits and managing family balance? I have many years helping children and teens to learn about their emotions and how to deal with them effectively. I use play based techniques, sand tray, and cognitive behavioral strategies to support healing and regulated emotions to find more peace and joy.
My Background and Approach
I help children, tween and teens address difficult emotions and teach strategies to manage emotions and build and maintain positive, meaningful relationships with others. I use Cognitive Behavior therapy CBT), Client-Centered Play therapy, Emotion Focused family therapy and Mindful Self -compassion practices. I consult with parents to help them navigate how to empathically relate to their children and set healthy limits.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe it takes great courage to seek therapy and I hold my clients in high regard, respect and dignity. I am amazed at the strength of the human spirit and the power of love. I honor each person's unique journey and want to help support you to reach full authenticity- the freedom to know, be, and love yourself.
