About My Clients
I am looking for adults to fill two different support and skill building groups. Adults who can benefit most from these groups are those who are having a more difficult time than usual coping with the stressors on their plate. A group setting is great to obtain support from others going through similar life struggles and allows attendee's a variety of perspectives.
My Background and Approach
I have been practicing therapy for over ten years and support groups was part of my experience from the very beginning. I have been able to witness the wonderful things group participation can have on people. I find I most align with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, so look forward to including the evidence based strategies in group to offer attendee's coping strategies they may have not come upon before.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe the way we think about things directly impacts how we feel, and that how we think about something is a choice many of us forget we have. I also believe that our greatest stressors are expectations that were not met, and therefore they deserve the proper amount of grieving before we can overcome the loss.
