About My Clients
I currently work with adult clients, ages 18 years old and up, experiencing anxiety, depression, decreased self-esteem, relationship issues, ADHD, stress, anger, personal development, goal setting, self-care, women's issues, and other concerns.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, and currently in the process of obtaining my LPC-Supervisor licensure. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with the NBCC and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) . I graduated from Lander University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and from South University with a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I use CBT and a strengths-based approach because stress and negative thoughts will often try to cloud the valuable strengths you possess. With this approach, I remind you of your strengths and bring them back into the limelight. I also often utilize cognitive behavioral therapy so we can begin to turn the volume down on those negative and harmful thoughts and shift to more supportive ones. We will begin by exploring your presenting concerns first, processing your thoughts/feelings constructively, and then joining forces to develop goals and a roadmap for success.

I believe that everyone has the ability to make significant, positive changes in their lives and I am passionate about helping you achieve your wellness goals and reestablish balance in your life where needed. I truly love this calling and wholeheartedly believe in your right to thrive and live a happy, balanced life.
