About My Clients
I work with individuals who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, and unresolved trauma. Many of my clients are high-functioning but silently struggling—deeply introspective, emotionally intelligent, and often the "strong friend" others depend on. I specialize in supporting Black women, creatives, professionals, and those experiencing burnout, perfectionism, low self-worth, and relationship difficulties.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My work is rooted in culturally responsive care, trauma-informed practices, and a human-first lens. I use a blend of therapeutic modalities—CBT, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches—tailored to your unique story and goals. I offer hybrid sessions including walk-and-talk therapy and creative community spaces that don’t always look like a traditional office, because I believe healing happens in real life, not just behind closed doors. Therapy with me is relational, affirming, and built on trust, transparency, and collaboration.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a deeply empathetic woman, a natural nurturer, and someone who values honesty, autonomy, and authenticity. I believe that healing is not linear and that people deserve access to care that honors their identity, lived experience, and voice. I stand for equity in mental health, breaking generational cycles, and supporting underserved communities. I’m passionate about normalizing therapy for Black and Brown folks and creating inclusive spaces where you don’t have to code-switch or shrink yourself to be seen. I support body neutrality, mental health advocacy, and platforms that empower marginalized voices. If you’re looking for someone who sees you fully—beyond the pain and into your potential—this space is for you.
