About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity-related concerns. Many of my clients seek support during times of change or when stress and self-doubt feel overwhelming. My style is warm, collaborative, and radically genuine—I bring humor, acceptance, and honest feedback to create a safe space for growth. Together, we’ll build resilience, clarity, and confidence so you can move forward feeling more grounded and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 7 years of experience in diverse settings, including work with sexual assault survivors, children in foster care, and adolescents in residential care. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Kennesaw State University and have advanced training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and DBT-informed approaches. This background allows me to support clients in processing trauma, managing intense emotions, and building healthier coping strategies. My approach combines evidence-based tools with warmth, humor, and radical genuineness, so clients feel safe while also experiencing real growth. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, past trauma, or major life changes, I aim to help you find clarity, resilience, and confidence to move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow and create meaningful change in their lives. At the core of my work is a strengths-based approach, which means I see each person as capable and resourceful, even when life feels overwhelming. My own experience with anxiety has shaped the way I view healing—I know firsthand that while the struggle is real, it is also possible to find relief, resilience, and freedom. I value inclusivity and equality, and I’m committed to supporting all clients, especially those whose voices are not always heard or listened to, including members of the LGBTQ community. I’ve participated in events like the Women’s March because I believe in advocating for human rights and creating space for voices that deserve to be uplifted. In therapy, this translates to offering acceptance, authenticity, and a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are.
