About My Clients
My clients are individuals and couples who feel stuck in relationship patterns that no longer serve them. Many struggle with communication, boundaries, self esteem, or recurring challenges in dating or long term relationships. Some are healing from past relationships, while others want to strengthen an existing partnership or prepare for commitment. Clients are often insightful and motivated, but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to create lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have specialized training in relational work. I am trained in the Gottman Method at Level 2, which informs my work with couples around communication, conflict management, trust, and emotional connection. I also use narrative therapy to help clients examine the stories they hold about themselves and their relationships and how those stories shape behavior and emotional responses. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, balancing insight with skill building so clients feel supported while creating meaningful and sustainable change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. I value honesty, emotional responsibility, personal growth, and mutual respect in relationships. My work is grounded in the belief that healthy relationships are learned and that people are capable of change when given the right support and tools. I am committed to providing affirming care to clients of all backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. I value inclusivity, cultural humility, and ongoing self reflection in my clinical work. I believe in helping clients develop agency, self trust, and emotional awareness so they can make intentional choices that align with their values and well being.
