About My Clients
I help teens and young adults—especially perfectionists and people-pleasers—manage anxiety, build coping skills, and take action that aligns with their values. Using CBT, mindfulness, and exposure therapy, I support clients in breaking free from overwhelm, building resilience, and feeling more in control. Other clients I work well with: Neurodivergent clients Clients with chronic health conditions People dealing with trauma
My Background and Approach
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We look at the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions — and learn practical ways to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns so you can feel better and make choices that serve you. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Instead of fighting uncomfortable emotions, we practice accepting them and focusing on what really matters to you, so you can move toward the life you want to live. Exposure Therapy: We gently face the fears or situations you’ve been avoiding — at a pace that feels safe — so that over time they become less overwhelming and you can build confidence. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): For those dealing with trauma, we work through painful memories and stuck points so you can make sense of what happened and move forward without feeling controlled by the past.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love working with teens and young adults and believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and build a life that feels meaningful. I hold a deep belief that your worth is not defined by how much you achieve or accomplish — you are enough just as you are. In my work, I focus on helping clients reconnect with their bodies, their emotions, and their values so they can make choices that feel aligned with who they want to be. As someone who has managed chronic health issues since my own teen years, I deeply understand how hard it can be to find a sense of self-worth when life feels limited or out of your control. Outside of therapy, I’m an animal lover and find joy in being around pets and nature — both of which can be powerful sources of comfort and grounding. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and begin to build the confidence and resilience you deserve.
