About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions and approach the therapeutic process with a mixture of empathy, curiosity, creativity, and humor. I enjoy working from various treatment approaches including Psychodynamic, Relational, EMDR, Creative Arts, Narrative, and Internal Family Systems therapies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a queer, gender-fluid therapist who practices from a trauma-informed, sex positive, fat positive, and harm reduction-based stance. I recognize and validate the ongoing systemic traumas of capitalism and oppression, and welcome you to bring your experience into the therapeutic space. I have experience working with LGBTQIA folx, sex workers, and victims/survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault/abuse. I believe in the potential of the therapeutic relationship to facilitate acceptance and warmth toward what might feel like the most painful or shameful parts of yourself. Together, we can name and process your trauma, grief, and loss that can come with these experiences and identities, and begin to implement a pleasure-focused path toward liberation.
