Struggling with self-esteem creates a barrier to understanding what you deserve in life. I work with my clients to identify and challenge the mindset that keeps them feeling unworthy and less-than in a world where they are important and significant.

Depression can feel like an insurmountable thing that attaches itself to you and prevents movement in the directions you want to take in life. I have worked with clients to take the steps to lighten the load that depression pushes on them and worked to find ways to feel more motivated and accomplished in their lives.

Anxiety is something that shows itself in many forms. I have worked with the many ways it presents itself and worked with my clients to identify and challenge the way anxiety has had a hold on them and interrupted their life. I work with clients to find strategies in which to implement and help quiet the noise that anxiety has brought to their lives.

Using CBT in therapy means that I understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I use this knowledge to help my clients identify patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to their current difficulties and how to tackle and improve their way of interacting with themselves and the world.

Using IFS in my sessions means that I understand the complexity of a person and various parts that make up their system in order to navigate the world. Those parts may be creating issues for them and must be understood in order to heal and feel more cohesive and whole.

Using Reality Therapy in my sessions means I empower my clients to take control of their lives and what they are responsible for. This includes identifying directions to take and the path to get their. This direct approach creates goal oriented mindsets and awareness of what creates the barriers to those goals.
