About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are quietly exhausted in ways that are hard to explain, not in crisis, but carrying a persistent sense that something essential remains just out of reach. They may feel more at home in their own minds than in most relationships, find themselves watching life from a slight distance, or live with a low-grade grief whose source is difficult to name. They are often thoughtful, even perceptive about others, while remaining strangely opaque to themselves.
My Background and Approach
What I offer is time, attention, and a willingness to stay with difficulty without rushing it toward resolution. My interest is in the deeper structure of a person's life: how it formed, what it costs, what it forecloses, and what might become possible with careful and sustained inquiry. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes. It is about cultivating a thoughtful, consistent space where your suffering doesn’t need to be minimized, where your full self is welcome, and where even the most difficult feelings can be met with curiosity and care. Over time, this deep work allows patterns to loosen, self-understanding to deepen, and new ways of relating (to yourself, to others, and to life) to slowly take root. I work with adults navigating a wide range of issues including depression, chronic emptiness, isolation, eating disorders, grief, existential questions, and the particular loneliness of feeling untranslatable to others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is explicitly anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed, rooted in the belief that our pain is never separate from our histories, our relationships, or the systems we live within. I believe that the baseline of any successful therapy is a strong and authentic therapeutic relationship, and I will take the time to listen to you deeply and with care.
