About My Clients

I work with first responders, healthcare workers, veterans, high achievers, and others navigating trauma, grief, burnout, and life transitions.

My Background and Approach

My professional background spans mental health, emergency medicine, wilderness response, public health, and education research. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and paramedic, I bring a unique whole-person perspective to my work, with more than 20 years of experience supporting people through trauma, crisis, loss, and major life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that mind and body are a whole. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to each person rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. I value curiosity, honesty, and practical tools, while creating space to explore the deeper patterns that shape how we experience ourselves and our relationships. Therapy is a place to feel understood, build resilience, and develop meaningful change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are more than their symptoms, diagnoses, or the difficult things they have experienced. We are complex, resilient, and constantly evolving. I believe the mind and body are a whole, and that meaningful healing often requires looking at the full picture—our experiences, relationships, environment, values, and sense of purpose. I believe therapy should be collaborative, honest, and free of judgment. There is no single path to healing, and I’m open to exploring approaches that fit the individual rather than forcing everyone into the same model. My goal is to create a space where people can be curious about themselves, reconnect with what matters, and build a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and fully their own.
