About My Clients
Meghan has experience with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, trauma, life transitions, parenting, and relationship concerns. Meghan is also well versed in helping people with a history of Addiction. Meghan can assist with assessment, referrals, and ongoing counseling and treatment services. Meghan also has an interest in counseling people impacted by Type 1 Diabetes, as she is raising a child with the chronic disease.
My Background and Approach
Meghan is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Addictions Counselor, and Registered Peer Supervisor. Meghan believes that since everyone’s journey is unique, the counseling process should be collaborative and integrative. Meghan’s treatment approach is individually tailored; blending elements from multiple therapeutic approaches based on each client’s needs and comfort level. Meghan understands the importance of utilizing resources as part of the therapeutic process and is very familiar with a variety of support services in the community. Meghan attended Towson University for her undergraduate degree and completed her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Counseling at McDaniel College.Outside of the office, Meghan spends time with her family, four dogs, and enjoys traveling anywhere with a beach.

I believe that there is always hope and gratitude to be found if you look for it. We change and grow throughout our life span. It is healthy to consult with a therapist to develop healthy coping skills and cultivate a healthy relationship with yourself and those that are most important to you.
