About My Clients
Are you carrying pain that feels heavy, complicated, or long overdue for care? Maybe you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, identity questions, family conflict, recovery, or the pressure of expectations that never seem to let up. You might be trying to support your child or teen through something you don’t have a roadmap for, seeking a space where your LGBTQIA+ identity is affirmed without hesitation, are a survivor who has spent years in survival mode, or someone facing challenging systems.
My Background and Approach
I am a Limited License Master Social Worker who has spent the last 12 years walking alongside survivors and children of domestic and sexual violence, and more recently supporting individuals navigating the recovery process. I work with people of all ages, families, and LGBTQIA+ clients who are doing their best in circumstances that often feel overwhelming or isolating. My practice is grounded in trauma‑informed, anti‑oppressive, and culturally responsive care, honoring the truth that your struggles are not personal failures but responses to experiences, environments, and systems that have shaped your story. I bring warmth, steadiness, and deep respect to the therapeutic relationship, creating a space where you don’t have to perform, hide, or be anything other than yourself. In her care, you will not be asked to minimize your pain or “push through” what hurts. Instead, you’ll find a space where your emotions are valid, your identity is affirmed, and your voice leads the work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is not about fixing what’s “wrong” with you, but reclaiming your power, honoring your resilience, and creating a future that feels more aligned with who you are and what you deserve. I am an accepting, nonjudgmental clinician ready to support you through the challenges you face and will focus on personal strengths and the fire within. I believe each human deserves to be respected, loved, and cherished and look to strengthen self-esteem and learning to love your uniqueness, while building upon the power you already possess. I actively advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement, LGBTQIA+ community, survivors of trauma and violence, and am a firm believer in the spirit of nature and the power of our surroundings and environment. I am also pet friendly.
