My Background and Approach
I take a person-centered and collaborative approach to therapy. You know yourself best, and as I get to know you, I can teach you the tools you need to feel ownership and control over whatever led you to seeking therapy. I often utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my work with clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that there is always room for growth and for change. I don't believe anyone is "beyond repair" and, even if it takes a few tries sometimes, there is always a chance that things can change for the better.
