About My Clients
You're the one others count on. You've built a life that looks successful, yet you may feel anxious, depleted, caught in overthinking, or disconnected from yourself. I work with high-achieving adults, particularly women, navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, caregiving, and major life transitions, including fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Together, we'll explore the patterns beneath the pressure and make room for a more meaningful, sustainable life that feels like yours.
My Background and Approach
I'm an LCSW with nearly two decades of clinical experience with individuals, couples, and families. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, informed by mindfulness-based, somatic, narrative, cognitive, and trauma-informed approaches. My advanced training includes psychoanalysis, mindfulness-based treatments, somatic and embodied trauma recovery, burnout and secondary trauma, and perinatal mental health. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, we explore how life experiences, relationships, emotions, thoughts, and bodily responses shape familiar patterns. This deeper understanding can help you respond to yourself and your life with greater awareness, flexibility, and self-compassion. I offer ongoing individual therapy, focused 12-week therapy immersions, therapeutic groups, and structured 10-week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), individually or in groups. Root & Reveal is based in Madison, Wisconsin, with virtual therapy for adults throughout
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where you can bring your whole self, without needing to perform, have the right words, or prove that things are hard enough to be deserving of support. I value curiosity, compassion, cultural humility, and care that honors the ways identity, relationships, and social context shape our lives. My practice is affirming of LGBTQ+ clients, including trans and nonbinary people. I feel passionately about understanding the ways in which our social and political climate create barriers to thriving, and committed to supporting empowerment and autonomy. I'm drawn to work that helps people move beyond simply coping and toward a life that feels more connected, intentional, and genuinely their own. As a person, I am deeply committed to supporting marginalized voices, protecting the natural environment, and centering creative self-expression and joyful movement. In addition to my work as a therapist, I am a partner, a parent, a yoga teacher, and an artist.
