About My Clients
You deserve to be fully seen, and are worthy of being held. Reaching out to a therapist and finding the right fit can be a daunting task, but I hope you will take a deep breath and a moment to connect to have your questions answered. Relationships are so hard, even when they're going well. If you find yourself in the messiness of painful family history, attachment issues, big and unmanageable feelings, and are struggling to thrive, make meaning, and be graceful with yourself-I can relate.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in psychotherapy grounded in attachment, trauma, social-emotional development, parent-child relationships, mindfulness and somatic experiencing. My experience as a music therapist and family trauma therapist over the last decade have deepened into a psychotherapy practice that centers compassion, your needs and goals, and a unique perspective. We will work together with a mix of talking, creating, breathing, noticing, being curious, and wondering. I believe your feelings matter, and you are entitled to be seen and heard. It's not too much to ask to heal your inner child by confronting the past that continues to show up in the present.
