About My Clients

My clients are often insightful people who feel pressure to perform, please, or stay strong in order to feel accepted. Many carry quiet shame from subtle but impactful past experiences and feel disconnected from their true needs or emotions. They may look “high-functioning” on the outside while feeling anxious, exhausted, or unseen inside. Therapy is a place to slow down, heal these patterns, and reconnect with a sense of worth that doesn’t have to be earned.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational approach to therapy, shaped by attachment theory and psychoanalytic thinking. I believe healing happens through a safe relationship where all parts of you are welcomed, including the ones shaped by past experiences of shame, disconnection, or the need to perform to be accepted. I integrate evidence-based trauma treatments such as EMDR with a relational, insight-oriented framework. This means we not only work to reduce symptoms, but also explore the deeper patterns that developed in response to early relationships and environments. Together, we examine how these patterns may still be influencing your sense of self, your emotions, and your relationships today. I approach therapy collaboratively, pacing our work carefully to support nervous system regulation, emotional safety, and meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, develop a stronger sense of self-worth, and build authentic relationships.
