About My Clients
You've had terrible things happen to you, and nothing has looked the same again. You wake up with nightmares, and racing thoughts. You can't seem to relax. Your life is in a holding pattern, while everyone around you seems to be moving forward at lightning speed. You've had the thought, "if I have to hear "there's a reason for everything" one more time from some well-meaning person, I might snap." Integrated therapy practices can change your suffering into peace. Let's take your life back.
My Background and Approach
Specializing in trauma, reprocessing, and suicidal ideation, I consider it an honor to work with clients during their therapeutic journey. I am trained in several therapy styles, including EMDR (trained under the EMDR Institute in 2021), CBT-Suicide, CAMS, Internal Family Systems and Seeking Safety. My areas of passion are trauma, childhood processing, grief and infant/child loss, and infertility. I see children (ages 14+), and adults. I also offer quarterly groups of Making Sense of Your Worth, which is a self-worth improvement therapy group. I offer therapy virtually and at later evening times to accommodate people who might otherwise be unable to make it work in their busy lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe at every person's core is their truest self, and that part of you is curious and kind and creative and intelligent and content. Everything else that brings people into therapy (the anxiety, the trauma, the fear, the anger, the grief) sometimes can overshadow our true selves and make it hard for use to know which way to go forward. I believe every person is capable of change and peace. I believe therapy is for everyone at any time, and I hope to make this process warm, inviting and effective for each person I encounter.
