About My Clients
I enjoy working with individuals impacted by anxiety, depression, ADHD, and adoption/foster care. I love working with teens and adults of all ages. I have experience working with OCD and phobias and enjoy helping teach concrete skills to help clients overcome their anxieties.
My Background and Approach
I am an LCSW who has worked in the field of social work for over 10 years. I am here to provide a listening ear in times of need and can help when you are looking to build a toolbox of coping mechanisms to help manage your anxiety, depression, and ADHD symptoms. My goal is to help you identify easily accessible skills that can get you through tough moments both in and outside of therapy sessions. I hope to help build you up as a person who believes in themselves and leaves each session feeling more positive and confident.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an extremely positive individual who always looks for the best in everyone. No matter what a person is struggling with, I help them see the bright side, while honoring their emotions, and help them learn healthy coping mechanisms and improve self-esteem and sense of self. As a child, I suffered from anxiety and phobias, especially phobias around sleep. After years of therapy and hard work, I overcame my phobias and am now absolutely obsessed with sleeping, with a strict bedtime of no later than 10 pm. I am a dedicated mother to both biological and foster children and am heavily involved in foster care and adoption. I absolutely love giving back to the community and am huge into volunteering and helping others in need. I love animals and have three rescue dogs, including my therapy dog, Lucy, as well as 20+ pet chickens. If I sound like I could be a good fit for you, please reach out and send me a message!
