About My Clients

You are someone who would like to learn new ways of feeling better. Maybe you have heard about Mindfulness and would like to learn more. You might have been in therapy in the past and it was helpful, but not exactly what you had hoped it would be. Maybe you felt better after talking about what was going on, but you wanted to learn how to feel at peace with the life you are living.

My Background and Approach

I have been in practice for over 8 years and during my time I have learned that there are many patterns that we all follow. We all have experiences and we all experience emotions. In my time practicing, I have learned that when we take time to make space for our thoughts and emotions instead of acting on them all, we can feel more confident, capable, and, overall, more healthy. My goal is to work with you to gain tools you can use outside of therapy so you can live the life you want to live without feeling like you need to be in therapy for the rest of your days. In my practice, I focus on increasing awareness of your experience which can help you identify what you are experiencing. When you are more aware of your experiences, you can use tools we discuss to improve the moment and handle life experiences.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that emotions are helpful signals that guide us in life. I also believe that everything we think might not be 100% true. I believe that the sign of a healthy mind is experiencing ebbs and flows in our emotional experiences. I also believe that we are stronger when we allow ourselves to feel and not follow paths of distress. I have learned this in my own life and would like to share this with you. I support populations that are often marginalized based on race, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, intellectual ability, beliefs, socioeconomic status, and ability. Above all, I believe we all have worth and believe in giving tools to help increase equity over equality.
