About My Clients

If you find yourself constantly caught up in a cycle of overthinking & overachieving, seeking balance and centeredness in your life, I am here to help. Through therapy, we will explore strategies to calm the racing thoughts, ease the pressure of constant doing, and rediscover a sense of harmony within yourself. While we may not possess the ability to directly control our thoughts & feelings, we do hold the power to consciously choose our responses to these internal experiences.

My Background and Approach

I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety, and perfectionism through the use of ERP and ACT. My passion lies in helping high-achieving, goal-oriented individuals discover their values and strike a balance between life pursuits and self-discovery. Employing an integrative and trauma-informed approach, I tailor skills and techniques to individual clinical needs, ensuring a personalized therapeutic experience. I hold a unique interest in addressing sexually based/taboo and relationship OCD themes. In our sessions, you won't find me silently staring across the room. I'm all about engaging conversations and interactive discussions. Think of our time together as a dynamic exchange, where we dive into your thoughts and feelings with the ease of a friendly chat. Just like pulling examples from your favorite movies or books, I might reference pop culture phenomena to make a point or share a relatable metaphor.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Recovery isn't about rescuing you from yourself or solving every problem. There's no expectation for you to become an entirely different person, perpetually free from anxiety or completely healed. The essence of recovery lies in adopting a practical approach—a realistic plan that embraces anxiety with flexibility and acceptance. It's about managing discomfort to ease the hold of OCD or perfectionism while honoring your unique experiences, vulnerabilities, and sensitives. Navigating the journey of life sometimes involves rewriting the narratives we construct about our timelines and expectations. As adolescents, we often envision our adult selves with a predetermined timeline, anticipating specific accomplishments by certain ages. However, life is unpredictable, and the reality may not align with our initial projections. As a therapist, I guide individuals in stepping away from rigid timelines and embracing the unfolding process of life.
