About My Clients
If you are here reading this right now, I want to acknowledge the courageous step you are taking to seek help. It can be scary to reach out and speak up for what you need, especially if you are the type of person who works hard to convince everyone around you that you are fine but internally, you are fighting a war with yourself. It’s okay— I know the weight of life can be extremely heavy, and there is permission here to take your armor off to rest.
My Background and Approach
Trust within the therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I believe it serves as the foundation in the therapy room. I understand this can take time— that’s okay! I will hold space for you to process at your own pace, and we will take all the time you need in order for you to build trust, to feel grounded and safe, and to work through all that you are wrestling with. I will be walking beside you every step of the way, and I will bring my tools, knowledge, and experience with me to support your needs and the work you are here to do! I tailor each session to best fit your specific needs and treatment goals by using a blend of person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, and mindfulness. Together we will develop effective tools and skills that facilitate your growth and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My hope is to create a safe space for you to feel seen, heard, validated, and cared for because even while you feel this way, you belong in this world just as anyone else. No matter who or what made your feel invisible, unworthy, unloved, or unseen, there is still a place for you. So, pull up a chair and come as you are— this is a space of unconditional acceptance where wounds can heal and grace is extended. We are free to know grace, welcome it, live in it, and cling to it. Healing with grace leads us towards restoration and light and allows us to find our way back home to our authentic selves.
