About My Clients
Life’s challenges can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Therapy offers a space to slow down, care for your emotional well-being, and develop skills that support long-term resilience. Working with a licensed counselor can help you regain hope, build confidence, and feel more connected in your relationships. I would be honored to support you as you work toward your personal therapy goals.
My Background and Approach
My specializations include trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I also have a niche for frontline workers and their families. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, and mindfulness to help individuals and couples address their trauma and overcome their challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a follower of Jesus and the Gospel is the foundation of my clinical approach. I believe each person is made in the image of God and that their stories are worth being told. People's voices and stories are valuable and need to be heard so that healing and growth can take place. The challenges people face are not too much for God because He is powerful and sovereign. While not every client I serve believes in Christ, I lead with compassion, sensitivity, and care for everyone who invites me into their journey. Fun facts about me: Coffee and a good mystery novel are my ideal way to spend a cozy Sunday afternoon. I am a new gardener and am learning every day.
