Megan focuses on treating clients seeking Sex Therapy or Sexuality Education. Because Megan is a virtual provider, all sessions are held virtually via HIPAA compliant video TeleHealth. My Background and Approach
Megan is one of ten AASECT Certified Sex Therapists within Indiana. They are listed on the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF) as a Kink-Knowledgeable Clinician. They advertise their clinical services on OutCare, the LGBTQ Healthcare Resource. Megan is Poly friendly and is on the PolyFriendly Professionals website. They have clinical experience and training counseling individuals or couples navigating infertility and infertility treatments or pregnancy loss (IUI/IVF). They are a Phd student studying Human Sexuality at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California. During clinical treatment, Megan’s techniques and interventions will be customized to meet your specific needs. Therapy will focus on solutions for your concerns. They believe in a collaborative approach to treatment. Megan is an integrative therapist, meaning they utilize a variety of theoretical approaches in treatment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Megan describes themself as a caring, Queer, sex positive, affirming, culturally competent, & open-minded. Megan works with folx that are part of the LGBTQIAP+ community, folx that are non-monogamous, and folx that ethically engage in BDSM/Kinks/Fetishes. Megan does not believe in pathologizing sexuality or gender. Megan does not believe in diagnosing, or treating, folx with a “Sex Addiction”. However, Megan does treat clients with Out of Control Sexual Behavior. Megan can discuss appropriate, and ethical, treatment options during a consultation.
